Our team are committed to ensuring orders are delivered to our customers safely. Our distribution team are following strict hygiene practices to protect themselves and our customers, and we are operating to a “contact free” delivery process, where customers will not be asked to sign for their deliveries. Welcome to the Manor Lodge Food website terms and conditions (“Terms”). Privacy, security, confidentiality and great customer service are important to Manor Lodge Food. The following Terms endeavour to make our website a safe and easy place to shop. These Terms apply to the use of this Website and the supply of Products through the Website and by accessing this Website and/or placing an order for Products you agree to be bound by the Terms set out below. If you do not agree to be bound by these Terms please do not use our Website.

For us to process your order you will need to provide us with your personal details including name and address. We will NOT share this information with 3rd parties and your data will be managed in line with our data processing policy.
Once you have placed your order, you will receive a confirmation email which will include your order number, product description, price and delivery date.
We are unable to add to orders once payment has been made.
If we are unable to deliver on your chosen day, and it was essential that your goods were delivered on time, then you have the right to cancel the purchase and get a full refund. You must email us email@example.com
DELIVERY OF GOODS
Under the Consumer Rights Act We are responsible for the condition of the goods until the goods are received by you, or by someone else you have nominated to receive them on your behalf such as a neighbour.
During the COVID-19 outbreak we will be practicing social distancing and contactless delivery. As such, it is your responsibility to choose a suitable ‘safe place’ for our driver to leave your delivery.
Once we have accepted your order, we will endeavour to deliver your goods on your chosen day.
If for any reason we are unable to delivery on your chosen delivery date:
- Minimum order is £30
- Delivery is free
- Delivery is Monday to Friday, between 8am and 5pm
- Deliveries will be made in refrigerated vans
- We are unable to provide time slots for delivery
PERISHABLE GOODS – CONSUMER CONTRACTS REGULATIONS EXEMPTIONS
There are some circumstances where the Consumer Contracts Regulations won’t give you a right to cancel and this exemption includes perishable items, such as food. The 14 day right to change your mind or cancel is waived in this instance.
We will deliver your order in refrigerated, temperature-controlled vans. Once your order has been delivered it is your responsibility to maintain the chilled and/or frozen state of those goods by collecting them the place of delivery as soon as practicable. No liability can be accepted by Us, for goods left in Your chosen location and subsequently spoil.
We will be operating a ‘local’ to us delivery service which covers the following postcode areas: PR4, PR8, PR9, L37, L39, L40
NON-ACCEPTANCE OF ORDERS
Non-acceptance of an order may be a result of one of the following:
- The Product You ordered being unavailable from stock.
- Our inability to obtain authorisation for your payment.
- The identification of a pricing or Product description error.
We have the right to refuse to deliver to certain postcodes, even if payment has been received. If this should occur, we will notify you by email and will refund the cost of the order within 24 hours (Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays).
You have the right to cancel your order, up until the point we have commenced the delivery process (the delivery process commences once your order has been loaded onto one of our refrigerated vans).
Cancellations must be made by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org – we will advise you if your order can be cancelled.
The full price of Your order will be refunded to you using Your original payment method, usually within 24 hours of acceptance of the cancellation (Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays). We do not charge for order cancellations.
Under exceptional circumstances it may be possible to cancel your order, once it is out for delivery. Please contact us by emailing email@example.com including your name and order number.
We are unable to accept return products once they have been delivered or delivery has commenced.
If a product is found to be faulty you must advise us by email firstname.lastname@example.org indicating your order number and a description of the faulty goods and where possible a photograph. This must be done at the earliest possible opportunity to allow us to rectify the situation in a timely manner. We will advise you by email if we need to collect the item otherwise the goods should be stored in the appropriate manner.
YOUR RIGHT TO A REFUND
In the unlikely event that we have made an error in picking your order, please advise us immediately by emailing email@example.com We will investigate the matter within 48 hours and if appropriate will refund you the price of the missing item(s) within 2 working days. (Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays).
